not that i want to turn this into the alanis tumblr or whatever, but i had to respond.  it was pretty much everything? i would listen to this song on repeat and just fucking SING MY HEART OUT when she goes “what i learn i rejected but i believe again i will suffer the consequence in this inquisition if i jump in this fountain will i be forgiven” and she sang like probably a bit above what my vocal chords are naturally adept at but i still tried to do it just like her every.single.time. this was my favorite song on jagged little pill, for sure.
